Please note that Friends of Dave Tours provides tours and transport from a range of providers and carriers including boats/ships, railways and car rental companies. The provision of such travel arrangements will be subject to the terms and conditions of each supplier as part of your Conditions of Contract with us (either as agent for the supplier or as part of our tour package.) We cannot list all of the supplier's terms and conditions here but you can request them. The main companies that we do business with are listed below but due to the wide range of travel products that we provide, as agent as well as part of our tour packages, there are many more. You will be able to find the conditions of carriage for these suppliers on their own web sites. If you are unable to do this then please contact us.

Information About You, Data Protection and our Privacy Policy
We will store and use the information you supply us, or which is supplied to us ("your information") for the purposes of processing your tour. Your information WILL NEVER BE GIVEN TO ANY THIRD PARTY. If you do not agree, we cannot accept your booking.
DISCLAIMER
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Friends of Dave Tours disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied by statute, custom or usage relating to the information contained in this website and we shall not be liable for any losses or damages whatsoever, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise arising from this website, or from any interruption or delay in accessing this website.
Please read the following information carefully. This constitutes an Agreement between You (the "Customer") and Friends of Dave Tours.
All tour bookings are done at the request of you the customer. Due to the limited number of people in our tours a written request for a place in our tours represents a legally binding contract and all financial obligations are expected to be met by the Customer. Your response to our request for allergy and food restriction information is part of your confirmation process and represents a confirmed booking.
Cancellations are accepted under the following conditions:
A. The cruise ship is unable to dock in port on the agreed upon day. If this happens you do not need to do anything. We will be advised by the port authority.
1. Late ships will be met and a modified tour given/ charges will be adjusted accordingly.
B. A written notice of cancellation is received 7 days prior to the set tour date. Notification should be made via email with a time/date stamp.
Please be courteous. Your booking occupies one of an exclusive number of available spots (16). Failure to show up or properly cancel affects both our tour personel and other potential passengers who could book the space.
Payment shall be made in full upon arrival. Remember that your booking represents a legally binding agreement in Germany.
All transactions will be made in Euro.
If paying for the tour/activity with a credit card, Customer is hereby stating that Customer is the authorized cardholder or that Customer has been authorized by the cardholder to use the credit card. In the event the credit card is dishonored, rejected, or later contested for any reason, Customer agrees to pay the amount indicated on the order form to Friends of Dave Tours. All credit card payments must be made via the Paypal.com system prior to the cruise to FoDTours@aol.com. No credit cards will be accepted on the day of the tour.
Applicable taxes are included in the quoted prices. Prices are printed on the tour web page and will not be altered without written notification.
Tips are not included and a 10% gratuity is suggested, but fully at the discretion of the customer.
GUEST CONDUCT:
Abusive or Disruptive Behavior - In the sole discretion of a tour or activity supplier or its guide, driver or agent, any guest deemed to engage in abusive or disruptive behavior during a tour or activity will be warned once that such behavior must cease. If the guest continues the abusive or disruptive behavior, the guest may be removed from the tour or activity and there will be no refund. Should the removal occur some distance from the tour or activity's origination point, the guest will be deposited at a safe public location and will be responsible for providing his/her own transportation back to the origination point.
Intoxication - In the sole discretion of a tour or activity supplier or its guide, driver or agent, any guest who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be prohibited from the tour or activity. Intoxicated guests will not be allowed to participate and there will be no refund for intoxicated guests so prohibited, or for any companions who choose to not take the tour or activity as a result.
Illegal Activity - Illegal activity of any kind by a guest will result in the tour immediately being ended by the tour guide, even if the vehicle is in a remote area. The guest(s) will be removed from the vehicle and law enforcement will be notified. There will be no refund.
GENERAL INFORMATION & POLICIES:
- The term tour/activity is used herein to refer to services, tours, tickets, transportation, performances, or activities that Friends of Dave Tours offers.
- We recommend that you purchase travel insurance.
- Duration of tour/activity hours is approximate.
- Tours/activities may include some element of risk. Friends of Dave Tours assumes no liability for injuries.
- No smoking in tour/activity vehicles or aircraft.
-Friends of Dave Tours reserves the right to alter, modify, or cancel a tour/activity due to traffic, bad weather, unsafe conditions or at the request of governmental, park, and state agencies.
- Tour/activity routes and content are subject to change without notice; tours may not be driven in the order as described in the tour/activity descriptions. From time to time, some of the sights may not be available or seen.
- Only those items stated on the web site brochure page as included in the price of the tour/activity are included; any other items are additional. Meals, for example, are not included unless the brochure specifically states that the cost of the meal is included in the price of the tour/activity.
- Friends of Dave Tours is not responsible for delays or service interruption due to mechanical failure, accidents, traffic congestion, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- Friends of Dave Tours is not responsible for lost or stolen articles left on board any form of transportation used on the tour/activity.
